To the burrows!
My woman made me sold my soul
For a wrinkled greasy pound and a few
Copper pennies
To the buroughs!
A woman made me sold my soul
For love but what is love after all?
I still search
Guitar man Guitar man
Sing me a song from the side of the road
Sing me a girl with glowing glass in her eyes
Sing me a girl with the neon tetra laugh
Sing me a girl to wash my hair
to wash my hair
Walk plexiglass and you’ll never fall through,
But the universe will lift up her skirt
That you may see and know and
No and sea
To the buroughs!
But I never lived in a burough
My life spent in backseats
My days numbered by her cigarettes
To the burrows!
A woman made me sold my home
Sold my home and move away
Sold my home and run to the North!
Sold my home and run to the North!
Georgia makes the ladies cry and deflate
Georgia hopes and hopes fantastic
Georgia lost her virginity in a drunken mess
Laugh guitar man laugh!
Sing me a song from the side of the road
Sing me a new home
Sing me a new love!
Sing me a new life!
Sing me a new road that I can ride to heaven!

Awesome personification. I love this poem, but there is so much that I like-- I couldn't begin to tell you everything.

I smiled across the room, embarrassed rogue
through sheets of smoke.
Her stare burned my smile to ash.
But the universe will lift up her skirt
That you may see and know and
No and sea

I got an idea, an idea so smart my head would explode if I even began to know what I was talking about.
